    The Committee on Government Organization moves to amend the bill on page one, by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

    H. B. 2499 -- “A BILL to amend the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, by adding thereto a new article, designated §5-30-1, §5-30-2, §5-30-3, §5-30-4, §5-30-5, §5-30-6 and §5-30-7, all relating to the Equal Employment Opportunity Office; setting forth legislative findings; defining terms; establishing the Equal Employment Opportunity Office within the Office of the Governor; providing for the appointment of a director; providing duties of the director; providing rulemaking authority; establishing duties of state agencies; authorizing investigations; prohibiting discrimination in the recruitment, appointment, assignment, upgrading and promotion of state employees; and requiring annual reports.”
